Katie Carlo is a Thousand Oaks Massage Therapist specializing in deep pressure point work through the use of stretching, rhythmic compressions, gentle rocking, and relaxed and passive joint movement. Katie integrates these unique techniques to customize the therapeutic treatments she offers patients.
After the patient consultation, Katie works to create openness and elongation in the body through innovatively stretching the muscles to facilitate a release in muscle tension as the source of chronic pain. Katie is also passionate about helping the client to become more aware of his or her body to prevent further injury or strain due to muscle overuse.
Within her personal life, Katie is passionate about living a healthy and full life, while spending time outdoors with her dog, Jagger, rock climbing with her husband, or mountain biking. Katie also likes to unwind through reading and jewelry making, while maintaining a passion for life on a daily basis.
